Sicily is the largest region of Italy and the most important island of Mediterranean Sea. This land is unique, rich in culture and because of this a marvellous destination for tourists who want to relax in seaside towns and in places rich of history. It was called "Trinacria" because of its triangular shape. Along its coast, there are sandy beaches and cliffs with breathtaking views of a crystal clear sea. There are some mountains and also the largest volcano in Europe, the Etna. In the southern part of Sicily you can visit the baroque towns (Noto, Ragusa Ibla, Ragusa, Modica and Scicli), places rich of history and culture.
